Editing

As a group we have begun editing again all of the footage including some new shots that we have taken. 

It is slowly but surely getting there.

Today we went to Hilly Fields to go and film, however as we arrived at 8am we had discovered that due to the cold conditions, the field itself was completely frozen over and it would be to risky and hard to try and film.

Below are a few photos of some of the locations we were considering using in our music video within Hilly's. Although we had taken these on a freezing cold morning, we decided to come back the following week to film.

Analysis of album adverts

Conventions:

• Bold writing of the artist and album name
• They all have the date of when it is/was out
• It says out now
• Kings of Leon, Marina and the Diamonds and Florence and the Machine both have a blow up picture of the artist.
• They could have reviews
• They say what the album songs include
• Florence and the machine defines which album it is. i.e. Deluxe album
• Social media links/website
• Links between album name and music video
• Dark colours conform to the indie genre - colour palette 
• platforms to download. e.g. CD, Vinyl, digital

Filming!

During the Christmas break, the team and I had met up and had managed to get a substantial amount of filming done at Forty Hall Park. We had met at noon - 12pm - and we had managed to film the majority of footage that we needed from that particular location. Alongside filming, we had ensured we had vlogged too! The weather wasn't exactly great, however the sun had decided to peep out a couple of times. Whilst filming we had thought of considering to use a black and white filter on the shots of the park and this is because with the weather constantly fluctuating in temperatures, it would not be continuous in our footage when we piece it all together.
